Soak the beans or 12 hours. Place in a pot with half glass of oil, one clove of chopped garlic, the chopped onion and the laurel. Cover with water and put over low heat. Cover the pot and boil for an hour and a half or two hours, depending on the quality of the beans. While they are cooking, stir the pot various times, and as necessary, add cold water little by little until the beans are almost cooked. Add salt. Remove from the heat and reserve.
At this point we recommend having a small glass of refreshing white wine.
In another pot heat a little oil and the other chopped garlic, taking care that it does not burn. Add the clams, chopped parsley and a cup of white wine. Cover and let boil until the clams open. When the clams have opened, remove several from their shells, add the langostinos and cook for two or three minutes more.
When the seafood is prepared, pour over the beans and cook for five minutes more.
What wine to serve? We recommend the rest of the dry white wine.
